El Paso homeschool Association Mission Statement

To reach families in El Paso and the surrounding areas in order to educate and encourage the option of home education. We do this by connecting families to local, state and national organizations that advocate for education rights as well as hosting the only homeschool conference in West Texas.

While El Paso Homeschool Association is a Christian organization and this belief guides the structure of the organization and annual Conference, El Paso Homeschool Association does not require attendees, speakers, or exhibitors to profess (declare, assert) agreement. In the same way, while we may not admit (accept, approve) an exhibitor or hire a speaker who is specifically “anti-Christian”, we do admit speakers and exhibitors that are not explicitly “Christian” but that DO provide home educators, both Christian and non-Christian, with information, knowledge, or curriculum that is relevant, useful, and beneficial.

El Paso Homeschool Association does not necessarily endorse everything found in our exhibit hall or heard in a workshop.

By virtue of being an education forum, El Paso Homeschool Association’s Conference does not attempt to filter all of the content you may see or hear at our conference. We believes that parent educators are competent and qualified to discern and make informed decisions regarding what material is good for their family. The conference is designed to serve diverse variety of homeschoolers, as well as those who are considering home education. Our convention is not a place to define uniformity of belief and practice.

El Paso Homeschool Association reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event sponsored by El Paso Homeschool Association, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. El Paso Homeschool Association may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by El Paso Homeschool Association including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, etc.

All speakers and speaker workshops are subject to change.
