What is "Care Group"?

Purpose: To give you those answers. To train Christian parents so they, in turn, can train up their children. To teach young moms the things that used to be routinely taught in school that no longer are taught. One of our moms said after attending last time "How do you even know what you don't know?"
It is geared toward adults, but teens are welcome as long as they are old enough to sit quietly and not disturb everyone else. Kids who can quietly watch a movie in the other room are welcome as well.
Husbands are welcome! We have several!
Our purpose is first and foremost "relationship" and secondly, to learn cool things in fun ways.
Our desire is to share information with friends on Christian History, Apologetics, Archaeology, Prophesy Fulfilled, Evidence of God's hand throughout history - and even now! Biblical thought processes and how they apply to real life, Biblical Parenting through audio, dvd, classes on my parents books and many other interesting things.
More than anything, I want to develop real relationships (facebook is NOT a relationship), real smiles, real tears, real hugs.... so many of our moms are lonely, feel disconnected and never see any other adults. We ALL need real friendships with like-minded people who keep us encouraged and uplifted.
We will share a meal, pray for/with each other and usually have some kind of lesson or watch a movie which we try to have extra of so you can take them back to show your own families .
Those who come to Care Group usually become my "core" group for the ministry - simply because I see them most often and talk to them face to face.
Please let us know if you intend to come and how many will be with you, so we can be sure to have enough food.
Each month, we will ask a different volunteer to bring a dish to share - so that we each only have to cook once every six months or so. 😁👍
